Paris Hilton’s sense of style is that of a real-life Barbie, but with more imagination. She is living her princess dreams, and more power to her. Most of Paris’ outfits are, at worst, a little self-indulgent and over-accessorized, but this dress (is it a dress?) might be the most unnecessarily extravagant thing Paris has ever worn. It’s like the garment is an accessory to the bow. Kudos to her for living every little girl’s dream, but for most little girls, style matures as they do.

Ana de Armas
It’s interesting that the star of Blade Runner 2049 would pick such an old style of dress. Ana’s a gorgeous woman, but buried under all this fabric and sparkly bits, she’s being overwhelmed by this dress. Getting rid of the long sleeves and the ruffled neck would be a great start.Getty ImagesParis Hilton
Having self confidence is awesome, but when you wear a bow as wide as you are tall, it could come across as though you literally think you’re god’s gift to mankind. That, or you ordered the wrong size and don’t want to admit it.Getty ImagesCarly Rae Jepsen
Carly looks so bright here, she’s like the sun poking out on a cold fall day. In this case it’s almost to a fault. The pale pink base of this dress is too close to Carly’s skin tone, so along with the pattern which also distracts the eye, it’s hard to see the actual shape.Getty ImagesChristine Taylor
Christine has amazing legs, and this dress was a great choice as a classy way to show them off. It’s too bad that the grey pattern is so forgettable. This silhouette is crying out for some creative embroidery, or at least a print with a little more something. Getty ImagesDarby Stanchfield
This outfit could be so, so cute. Not just cute, but fierce. Sadly, these colours are so bland this suit loses any of the punch it might have had. This looks the photo negative version of how this suit should actually look. Darby is so much bolder and this outfit does not do her justice.Getty ImagesGrace Jones
Grace Jones has already solidified herself as a style icon, so there’s no need for her to pull a stunt like this to stand out. The simple black dress she’s wearing is beautiful enough, so there’s no need to add a headdress covered in gothic shrubbery.Getty ImagesHaley Bennett
The The Girl on the Train star looks like she got halfway through a fitting for a bit part in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them before having to run to this event in a half-sewn petticoat. It could have looked effortless and stylish, but that random long bit of the skirt ruins its chances.Getty ImagesZendaya
Zendaya’s usually on the top of every best-dressed list, but this paper bag/tent outfit is not one of her best looks. Her vibrant purple shoes and ‘50s hairstyle are great, but it looks like she’s about to make a bad Dragons’ Den pitch. Why pitch a tent when you can wear it? No thanks. Getty ImagesJada Pinkett Smith
This looks like it was put together by someone who doesn’t understand that just because each piece is technically white doesn’t mean they actually match. Each element of Jada’s outfit is a slightly different white, and it’s not working all together.Getty ImagesJazmin Grace Grimaldi
As Grace Kelly’s granddaughter, Jazmin’s got the blood of a major, MAJOR style icon running through her veins. Most of the time, she rises to the occasion and then some, but then there are outfits like this. Powder blue leopard and zebra print sounds bad enough on their own, let alone in the same dress.Getty ImagesJenna Coleman
This would be the perfect outfit if it wasn’t paired with such an obnoxious pair of shoes. They’re half heels, half classic Doc Martens, and all kinds of wrong. Too punk for this put-together look.Getty ImagesJessica Simpson
White-on-black polka dots and red pumps should be a recipe for a super fun outfit, but there’s something about this look that’s missing a little oomph. If the top half of the dress was a little more interesting, this outfit would be just as fun as Jessica is.Getty ImagesKerri-Anne Kennerley
This Aussie TV personality knows how to stand out, but this outfit is way too over-the-top. There are so many equally brash elements to this look; it’s like a cross between a matador’s outfit and something the women of ABBA would have worn in 1976.Getty ImagesSabrina Carpente
The Disney star turned songstress is definitely defining her own fashion rules with this outfit. While that’s very admirable, this mash-up isn’t as harmonious as Sabrina’s voice. Just tucking in the sweater would make the transition from casual so much better.Getty ImagesBecky G
In a reverse move from Sabrina, Becky started out singing, and has now had her breakout film role as the yellow power ranger. While Becky is rocking this LBD, it would be nice to see her in something a little fancier, or at least an LBD that brings more than just some strappy bits to the table.Getty ImagesZawe Ashton
How does Zawe make an outfit made entirely out of a torn up plaid blanket look so modern? Impressive. That said, the balloon sleeves don’t really work the heavy winter fabric, and the dangly section of the skirt seems like it’s only there to keep it from looking too dowdy and traditional.Getty Imagesjulianne moore
Julianne Moore can rock a cape dress, especially in stark black and white. The unfortunate thing about this is that it doesn’t quite go far enough. If you’re going to add a cape, give it a little more drama. It would even help if her gorgeous red locks were just left down instead of half-up.Getty Images
