In our technology-obsessed times, preferring a Mac or a PC is akin to religion. If you like one, chances are you never use the other (unless you’re forced to at work). It would be sacrilege to convert, and for anyone to do so, it takes a helluva lot of convincing.

We get it — each of the computers offers its own brand of reliability and enjoyment. PCs are generally sturdier when it comes to word processing and spreadsheet programs, and Macs are considered to be the machine for “artsy” types. There are downsides, too, with Mac’s sometimes-confusing Command key and “Get Info” selections. (We won’t even get into iTunes.) PCs are an even bigger target for nitpicking, what with their loud loading rumbling and often-convoluted processes. Our last PC tower was the size of a small bookcase, but we digress.
