Spider-Man Far From Home is in theatres now, so we’ve (happily) been seeing a lot of Jake Gyllenhaal lately!

With fans spending so much time looking at his beautiful face, they’ve started to draw comparisons between his face and other people, things and, uh, cartoon animals.

On Thursday night, Twitter user @ellkay_ pointed out how much Gyllenhaal resembles Alex the Lion from the film Madagascar.

Earlier this week, Hamish Steele got us wondering if he could have modelled for this statue of Toy Story’s Woody at Disneyland.

If you look into the “Jake-verse,” as @dronniedarko demonstrates, it’s also impossible to ignore how much he looks like Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III from the How To Train Your Dragon franchise

Maybe they should cast Gyllenhaal in the live action Little Mermaid, too?

It’s also been said that Gyllenhaal and Casey Frey could be long lost brothers.

They don’t just look the same, says fans, their personalities are super similar too!

@SeakAKemp thinks Gyllenhaal looks like Luke P. from the Bachelorette. Do you see it?

Is that Jake Gyllenhaal or Ned Flanders? It’s hard to tell!

Adding his co-star Tom Holland to the mix, look how the duo channelled Chris Kattan and Will Ferrell’s Night at the Roxbury characters during their appearance on The Graham Norton Show.

Throwing it back, one user noticed some major commonalities between Gyllenhaal and Count from Hotel Transylvania.

These resemblances may be uncanny, but there is only one real Jake Gyllenhaal!
