The internet has found its latest artistic sensation. The newest viral art phenomenon is self-taught artist Felix Semper’s paper stack sculptures. They look like they’ve been carved out of stone or built with metal and other materials, but then they stretch out into a paper slinky. These incredible pieces are crafted out of nothing but paper!

According to his website, Semper’s pieces incorporate an array of flat materials to get the “fluid movement” and “playful mobility” you see there. He uses “glued layers of paper, sliced wood, books, recycled materials, etc.” to make these incredible sculptures.

Semper has also branched out to do commissioned corporate pieces for advertising purposes. He’s created Converse sneakers, 1984 Air Jordans, Lays chips, Coke cans, cheeseburgers and Frosted Flakes. Do we have the next Andy Warhol here? At the very least, he’s sculpted him.

Semper’s talents aren’t limited to paper sculpting (as if we could even call that a “limitation”). He also creates paintings on canvas inspired by graffiti styles around the world. He has series highlighting styles from Cuba, Spain, America and other themes.

If you’re interested in spending a couple of hours tonight watching solid-looking sculptures stretch and contort like they’re made of liquid, Semper has a whole video page where he does just that. Enjoy.
