There’s nothing like using social media to learn new information, acquire a skill or to just make you feel better about yourself when you need your spirits lifted a little. Well, given how far and wide one of the latest trending hashtags has gone, we’d say it accomplishes all three of those things.
#IWishIWouldHaveLearned is the latest viral hashtag where people share advice and bare their souls about everything they wish they knew at a younger age. Since no one’s born with all of the answers and we all stumble on the great journey we call life, it’s a hashtag that we can all get in on and share.
And isn’t sharing and receiving infinite wisdom what online communities are all about?
The wisdom we’re gleaning from these comments certainly seems infinite. From insightful tweets about eliminating toxic people and making time for yourself to funnier takeaways about folding a fitted sheet and eating healthily, these posts are all kinds of awesome.
Here are just a few of our favourites:

Preach. No matter what you do in life, half the world’s going to love you, and half of it’s going to hate you. So be the person you want to be, not the person you feel pressured to be.

At one point or another, you’ve probably had to face a relationship where you felt undervalued and like you’re the only one putting in any effort. It can take time to learn this lesson, but every relationship is a two-way street, and you deserve better than someone who isn’t giving you the time of day.
