PETA criticises man for being eaten alive by anaconda
What a terrible person, getting eaten alive and all. PETA’s comments actually come after a new TV show was commissioned by Discovery Channel, in which a man is eaten by an anaconda. The show, Eaten Alive, shows naturalist Paul Rosolie donning a “snake-proof” suit and a secured rope, before allowing a snake to swallow him whole. The folks with PETA accused Rosoli of “tormenting” the animal for the sake of a “blatant publicity stunt.” Ssssucks to be him.
Katie Mulrennan rejected from South Korea teaching job due to ‘alcoholism nature of the Irish’
You can’t have the job because of stereotypes, OK?! That’s pretty much what happened to Irish woman Katie Mulrennan after she applied for a teaching job in South Korea. The rejection letter she received literally reads “I am sorry to inform you that my client does not hire Irish people due to the alcoholism nature of your kind.” That’s so offensive, we don’t even know where to begin. Not to mention this article found South Koreans could drink the Irish under the table.
18-metre pink condom erected in Sydney park
Because safe sex really is that important. The display by ACON, the AIDS Council of New South Wales, was installed at Sydney’s Hyde Park to raise awareness about HIV prevention. The condom-covered obelisk is targeting gay men in particular, as recent polling stations have found rates of unprotected sex are rising during casual encounters. The display was erected today, and will remain in the park until Wednesday.

Diner Forced To Spend Thousands On Wine After He Asks Waitress For Recommendation
Never trust the wait staff. Joe Lentini went for dinner at Bobby Flay Steak in Atlantic City last week, and decided to ask a waitress for a wine recommendation. He says that he doesn’t have much experience with wine, and that he forgot his glasses that evening. So when the waitress pointed at an item on the menu and Lentini asked how much it was, she replied “thirty-seven fifty.” Little did he know she actually meant $3,750. Whoops!
Woman stabs boyfriend after he threatens to harm turtle
Don’t. Touch. The turtle. Marie Seymour of Florida is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after her boyfriend threatened to harm her pet turtle. It’s unclear exactly what the threat was, but Seymour decided to retaliate by allegedly stabbing him. There hasn’t been any word on where the man was stabbed or how badly he was hurt. The turtle’s name was never released.
