Worried for Pete

Mental health issues are not to be taken lightly. Just ask Pete Davidson and Kanye West. It all started on Thursday when Kanye alleged that Drake was picking on “people with mental health issues.” Drake didn’t respond, but did post laugh-crying emojis on his Instagram story so take from that what you will. Then Ariana Grande piled on and attempted to joke about the feud on Twitter (in a tweet that has since been deleted), but Kanye was armed and ready and fired back promptly.

For that, Ari apologized to Ye but not before Davidson praised West on Instagram, saying, “Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”

And because Ariana fans don’t like their girl being slighted in the least, they went on the attack, hard, to the point where Pete was driven off social media — but not before he posted a very troubling message, and the concern became very, very real.

Celebs have had enough of the bullying and just want Pete to be OK.

And Ariana was there for Pete too. Though he didn’t want to see her. Understandable.

Turned out, Pete was OK. Well, as OK as could be expected.

According to reports, police checked in on Davidson on the set of SNL and he was accounted for. Now, can Ari’s stans leave Pete the hell alone?

Prince Harry won’t shoot

For the last couple decades, Prince Harry has taken part in the Boxing Day pheasant shoot with his father, Prince Charles, brother, Prince William, and other royals. This year, however, is going to be different. According to the Sunday Mirror, Harry is skipping tradition out of respect for Meghan’s love for animals/hate for hunting.

“William sees this as another concerning example of his brother being pulled away from his family by his new wife,” said a royal source. “Harry’s always loved hunting and it has provided them with a great chance to bond as brothers. But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over. It’s the latest point of contention between the Princes.”

That’s right, blame Meghan once again, because Harry is a robot and needs his wife to make up his decisions for him. Sigh. What’s next? The couple are going to turn their backs on royal life completely? Pfft. That’s what Samantha Markle has been saying, so it’s obviously not true.

Can Harry and Megs catch a break already?

Offset crashed Cardi’s headlining gig to try and win her back and it was basically the worst

Offset, continuing his campaign to try and get back together with Cardi B, took drastic measures on Saturday to get his ex’s attention. And it wasn’t great.

The rapper didn’t get the response he was hoping for — by Cardi …

… and her fans. Oh, yeah, people were pissed on her behalf.

Offset apologized for the interruption … sort of.

But Cardi’s fans were still not happy.

Cardi, however, is a class act — and defended Offset, urging people to be kind and stop attacking him.

What she said. Because if she’s able to let things slide, her fans should as well. Now move on, Cardi, and keep doing you.

Jennifer Lawrence denied Harvey Weinstein’s claim that they had sex

Nice try, Harvey Weinstein, but Jennifer Lawrence isn’t having it. In court documents filed by a Jane Doe, the unnamed plaintiff claimed Weinstein told her, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar.” Doe also alleged that the former studio head masturbated in front of her and forcibly performed oral sex on her.

Lawrence issued a statement to E! News that read: “My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein. I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him.”

She added: “This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.”

Previously, J-Law — who won the Best Actress Oscar in 2012 for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, which Weinstein executive-produced — had this to say about the disgraced producer, “Just speaking for myself, I had known him since I was 20, and he had only ever been nice to me — except for the moments that he wasn’t, and then I called him an a**hole, and we moved on. He was paternal to me. So I needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy, and then he’s being accused of rape. We all knew he was a dog, we knew that he was a tough guy, a brute, a tough guy to negotiate with.”

She then, a couple of months later, offered her support to those who had been subjected to Weinstein’s abuse. “Harvey Weinstein and his company are continuing to do what they have always done, which is to take things out of context and use them for their own benefit. This is what predators do, and it must stop,” she told TMZ in a statement in February. “For the record, while I was not victimized personally by Harvey Weinstein, I stand behind the women who have survived his terrible abuse and I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time’s up.” Indeed.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are Instagram official

Hmm, perhaps the engagement rumours are true. Chris Pratt posted a sweet collage of photos for girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger, in honour of her 29th birthday.

Don’t know what’s more adorable — her smile or that his nickname for her is “Chief.” Either way, both are too cute for words.
