Okay, we get that diapers are no fun to change. Like, as cute as babies can be, they’re also stinky as heck. Not to mention that their poops change on the daily, and come in a variety of consistencies and colours.

But does that mean that one parent should get off the hook when it comes to actually changing them? It seems like Pharrell Williams is at any rate. Apparently changing his triplets’ diapers doesn’t make him Happy, so he’s content letting his wife, Helen Lasichanh, (and hired help, of course) do it all.

The celeb and former The Voice coach has no qualms about it either. He openly told audiences during an appearance on the Today show that when it comes to diaper duty, he’s out.

“No. No… My wife is SEAL Team Six. There’s nothing she can’t do,” the Grammy winner said this week. “I mean, she carried those three bodies and she’s just on it all the time.”

We hate to break it to him, but Lasichanh is probably on it all of the time because he doesn’t want to be. As most parents in that situation will do. You don’t want your babe to sit in a wet or poopy diaper, after all.

“We do have some amazing people to help us, but it’s serious,” he continued.

Well, at least she has help. But if we’re being honest we don’t love the example Pharrell is setting for diaper-fearing dads (and moms) everywhere. Because when it comes to parenting, sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

Okay, so actually you always have to roll up your sleeves and get to work. But we digress.

So what does Pharrell do? Well according to him he doesn’t dress his five-month old daughter or sons either.

“Again, SEAL Team Six,” he responded when asked that specific question. And to think he has his own clothing line.

Boy, considering the couple also have a five-year-old son together, we can only imagine how busy Lasichanh must be. Then again, point us to a mother who isn’t up to her eyeballs and we’ll eat our tongues.
