Another day, another stupid comment from Piers Morgan. This time, Morgan is taking a break from fat shaming women and changing things up by criticizing actor Daniel Craig for using a baby carrier. No seriously, that’s it.
Often called a ‘papoose’ in the UK and better known as a ‘baby carrier’ in North America, Craig was photographed carrying his daughter in a Tula brand ‘Discover’ style of baby carrier (enjoy the sales spike, Tula) while walking around New York City. Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz welcomed their first child together in September and it appears that the actor has taken to parenting like James Bond to a tux.
Not a fan of the baby carrier look, Morgan tweeted on Monday that Craig looked ‘emasculated’ by carrying his child in a papoose, even using the hashtag #emasculatedBond. Oh Piers. Shhhhhh.

Craig has yet to comment on #PapooseGate, but we can pretty much guess his response.
Also, we’re definitely going to start calling baby carrier’s a ‘papoose.’ It’s so much fun to say. Just try it!
Morgan, who apparently has never tried to hold a baby and get anything done (literally…anything at all!) appears to be confused as to why anyone would use a product that’s not only proven to have positive effects on a child but also make life easier for the parent. We would like to say that it’s better to just ignore the British celebrity but considering Morgan’s huge platform that includes a hosting gig on the daily TV show Good Morning Britain, his comments have the power to influence millions of people watching him. Therefore, he must be shut down.
Since the stupidity began on Twitter, the social media platform is also where many people went to slam Morgan and his outdated views.
Captain American Chris Evans just became our favourite Chris for his response to Piers.
You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child. Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside. https://t.co/9jsHZ3WKRn

Piers Morgan criticizing Daniel Craig for holding his child is a direct result of nobody holding Piers Morgan as a child.

Many dads began uploading pictures of themselves using baby carriers and it’s pretty much #dadporn for people who love DILFs.

Dug this one up from a west coast of Florida vacation years ago. I miss being able to carry her like this. Piers Morgan sucks. pic.twitter.com/lTKHdh2GJw

MMA fighter Conor McGregor knows that muscles are good for fighting and for carrying around growing babies.

Canadian WWE star Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland gave Morgan another awesome dad moment to criticize.
This is me wearing an Elsa dress after Lyric asked me to wear her Mom’s Halloween costume. I look ridiculous. But who cares? That’s what you do for your kids. I’m sure @piersmorgan would find this emasculating. I say only if you’re uncomfortable in your masculinity. pic.twitter.com/kDOvnw4pz2

As for Piers, he tried to explain himself, but just sounded like more of a jerk.
It’s my opinion, Henry – nothing more sinister than that.
Britain used to be a country where people debated such matters with gusto, humour & civility.
Papoose-Gate perfectly personifies how pathetically self-righteous, hysterical & humourless the Twitter mob has become. https://t.co/5wlnVaFC7D

His responses on Twitter didn’t do much to get anyone on his side.
Piers Morgan, who constantly calls people snowflakes and says that people are too offended nowadays, has been tweeting through the night because he’s angry that men hold their children

We’ll just leave it up to this cutie to have the final word for Piers.
