Michelle Obama may have quashed all of our dreams about running in the American election and becoming the first female president, but that doesn’t mean another woman won’t step up. And according to latest reports, that might be sooner than any of us thought.

President Oprah rolls quite nicely off the tongue, does it not? Well apparently a reporter from Bloomberg thought so too, because he asked Ms. Winfrey about the possibility of running in the next election.

“I never considered the question even a possibility. I thought, ‘Oh gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough.’ Now I’m thinking… ‘Oh!'” she answered.

That about sums it up, doesn’t it? Love or hate Donald Trump, you have to admit that he’s shattered the exceptions of what kind of experience a political leader actually needs these days. And to be fair, Oprah has a ton of experience when it comes to things like representing a brand, public speaking, running organizations and making her own money.

To boot there aren’t a bunch of reports from people saying that Oprah has bankrupted them or broken their contract agreements. In fact if anything, Oprah may actually be overly generous judging by some of the giveaways she hosted on her old daytime show.

So shouldn’t that make her just as qualified, if not more so than Trump?

We certainly think so.

Oprah’s election would certainly quiet down Trump celebrity-haters, that’s for sure. Then again 2020 seems awfully far away at this point. As Trump proved a little too easily before the last election, a lot can happen in the span of four years.

Still, President Oprah… We could get used to saying that.
