The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have endured a difficult month, so it’s no surprise the pair are eager to celebrate their wedding anniversary and look to the future. Thankfully, they’re looking to the future with their two dogs in tow. At times like this, we need pictures of cute dogs more than ever. The official Clarence House social media page shared a new image of the couple on April 8, just one day before their 15th wedding anniversary. The picture was posted on what was supposed to be the couple’s actual wedding date but was pushed back to April 9 in order for Prince Charles to be able to attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II. The photo was shot at Birkhall, the monarchy’s home in Scotland, where Charles and Camilla have been self-isolating. The couple posed on what appears to be a floating chair (where are the legs?) and were joined by their dogs, Bluebell and Beth. Correction, these are the Duchess’ dogs and the Duchess’ dogs only. Interesting. These pups look quite happy to be with Prince Charles as well. He may be next in line to the throne, but Prince Charles also appears to be every dad who said they didn’t want a dog and then ended up carrying their ‘baby’ with them at all times. The new photo appears to be part of the trend of porch sessions that have been dividing the photography world. While some photographers are using these sessions to continue working during the global pandemic and capture families in their new isolation setting, the sessions open the photographer and the client up to the possibility to coming into close contact and spreading COVID-19. Considering Prince Charles' recent health scare, we assume all necessary precautions were taken to ensure the couple remained a safe distance from their photographer.Prince Charles was the first senior royal to test positive for COVID-19 and remained in isolation at Birkhall for seven days as per the recommendations of the U.K. government. Although she did not test positive, Camilla also self-isolated. Clarence House announced on March 30 that Prince Charles was out of isolation and the couple has remained at the family estate in Scotland.[video_embed id='1928178']RELATED: Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19[/video_embed]The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have been spending their time in quarantine in Scotland while Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip have also left Buckingham Palace and moved to Windsor Castle. Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge were the last senior members of the royal family to leave London, relocating to the family’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk county with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.William and Kate have continued to actively supporting those working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis. On Wednesday, the couple shared a video showing a few moments of their virtual meeting with students and teachers who are members of a Place2Be school in Lancashire. The school has become a hub for five other local schools and has remained open during the pandemic in order to serve the children of first responders and key workers. If you’d like to see Prince William get roasted by a young girl in bunny ears, the video is a cute three-minute watch.
