You know who is cute? Prince George. What a precious, adorable little boy. And you know what Prince George does? He wears clothes, just like you and me. He wears pants, he wears shirts, he wears rompers and he wears shoes. In fact, his latest foray into fashion muse-hood came in a peculiar form: Crocs. Yes, the one-year-old Prince wore miniature Crocs whilst frolicking with his mother (Kate Middleton) at a polo match. And people took notice.
Shortly after that fateful date of June 14 of 2015, sales of Prince George’s preferred leisure footwear skyrocketed by 1,500 per cent. That’s a lot of baby Crocs out in the world, right?
In fact, we can’t help but recall another Brit who created waves with a shoe. It was 2005 at Glastonbury when Kate Moss sported Hunter wellies with her short-shorts. Shortly thereafter, wellie sales rose by 53 per cent in the U.K. and 66 per cent globally.
So, it goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that Prince George is the new Kate Moss.
