Things are royally heating up between Prince Harry and actor Meghan Markle.
The two first sparked romance rumours back in November, although the pair had reportedly already been dating for three months. Harry and Meghan first met in May 2016 while Harry was promoting the Invictus Games in Toronto, where Meghan shoots her series Suits.
Harry has already reportedly introduced Meghan to his father Prince Charles, as well as his brother Prince William, but the American actor had yet to meet Harry’s famous sister-in-law — until now.
Kate previously missed meeting Meghan two months ago when Harry introduced his new girlfriend to William at Kensington Palace. Kate was at the couples’ home in Norfolk, which is where George was this past Sunday to attend nursery school.
Over the weekend, Harry and Meghan visited Kate at her Kensington Palace apartment so the two women could finally meet. According to The Sun, the meeting went well, with sources revealing that “Kate was really looking forward to meeting Meghan and she knew how important it was to Harry. They are very close and he really values her opinion on girlfriends.”
The source also says that the feeling was mutual, with Markle excited to finally meet Kate. Meghan reportedly played with Harry’s niece, Charlotte, and gave Kate a belated birthday present of a leather bound dream diary, which Kate loved.
The new couple had just returned from a romantic trip to Norway, with sources saying that Harry introducing Meghan to Kate, who he often looks to for advice, is a big step in the couples’ relationship.
