It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. As Prince Harry‘s two-week Caribbean tour winds down, it was his stop in Barbados that we’ve all been salivating for. Sure, Harry’s been predictably awesome in the other countries he’s visited but we all knew it was in Barbados that the prince would meet the island’s resident princess: Rihanna.
OK, she’s not technically royalty — but close enough. The singer joined Harry in her homeland to celebrate Barbados’ 50th anniversary of independence and it was kind of amazing.
No, really, look at his face and how genuinely starstruck he is.
So adorable. You’d think he was meeting Michelle Obama for the first time. And anyone else notice how she couldn’t resist checking him out while he wasn’t looking?
Oh, to know what she was thinking. And as much as we love Harry and Meghan, this is the one time we kinda sorta wish he was single. Harry has proven he doesn’t have a type so can you imagine what would happen if Harry and Rih hooked up, be it for one hot night, or even just a short-lived fling? Yes, yes, Meghan is great, she’s beautiful and great on paper but for pure tabloid splendour, folks, Rihanna and Harry would be so, so glorious. Just think how livid Drake would be.
And no matter how contained Rihanna seemed, she had to do a double take at Harry in that blue shirt and burgundy pants. Because, hot damn.
And just when you thought Harry couldn’t get any hotter, he spent the time leading up to the Toast to the Nation hugging it out and being generally amazing with kids. Basically, the perfect Harry day.
