Grandparents are wonderful, nurturing creatures. From a young age, we discover the wealth of wisdom they possess, and the vast amount of candy they always seem to have on their person. (Seriously, where do you keep all of those Werther’s Original, Gran?)
Apparently, Hot Harry doesn’t expect such royal treatment from his grandmother. Or at least not to the extent us commoners are used to. While most of us feel comfortable waltzing into our grandparents’ homes and ruling the roost, Harry’s family dynamic is a tad different. His grandmother is an actual ruler after all. There are no royal sweets to be eaten for him. At least, not until they are officially presented to him via a white glove in a presumably priceless candy dish.
Sure, Prince Harry, the handsomest substitute heir on the planet, certainly loves and cherishes his grandma, and she certainly reciprocates the sentiments, but his view on their relationship is a little different than you might think. He revealed his take on his grand-maternal relations in the forthcoming documentary, Elizabeth At 90 – A Family Tribute, according to Radio Times.
“I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother,” Prince Harry says in the doc. “You have this huge amount of respect for your boss and I always view her as my boss, but occasionally as a grandmother.”
Awww, this is so cute! It’s fun to imagine Prince Harry bustling about Buckingham Palace, doing the Queen’s bidding. In a sense, we all report to our grandmas. She is your parents’ boss, after all, which would technically make her, like, VP of operations.
“I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother.”
We know that Prince George calls the queen “Gan Gan,” now we’re wondering what Harry calls his grandma/boss.
Chief? Boss? Big kahuna? El Jefe?
Regardless, we’re mostly curious about what kind of candies the Queen gives to her grandkids.
