There once was a pot who called the kettle black, and that pot’s name was Rebecca Romijn.
The supermodel/actress Rebecca Romijn known for her role as Mystique in X-Men threw shade on these new-aged “social media stars” posing as supermodels during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I know a lot of people —legitimate fashion people — can’t stand it. Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels.”
So, she doesn’t aim at anyone specifically, which we must point out, but it’s kinda obvious who she’s talking about.
*Cough, cough, Kendall Jenner, cough, cough, and Gigi Hadid, cough, cough.* Oh boy! Excuse us. We really should get that checked out.
Romijn is made out to sound like the old person who just doesn’t get social media. She goes on to express her disappointment in Vogue supporting this doomed trend that is the Internet by featuring its stars.
Romijn denied her comments had anything to do with Hadid and Jenner, but then we gotta ask: if not them, who?

The fact that she’s actively squashing the beef on Twitter to her 46 thousand followers is ironic. Instagram is where she draws the line, we suppose.
And don’t even get her started on Snapchat!
