There’s something so refreshing about carbonated water, so why not add alcohol to the mix for that little extra punch? It’s even more enjoyable in the summer.

The good folks at Perrier, along with Toronto mixologist Sarah Parniak, have provided us with three super-thirst-quenching cocktails to help you cool down during these sweaty days.

So stop reaching for the fan and refresh yourself with these simple recipes.

L’Orange Tropicaux

What You Need

  • 1½ oz. aged rum
  • 1 oz. pineapple cinnamon syrup
  • ½ oz. fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 3 oz. Perrier L’Orange

What You Do

1. To make the pineapple cinnamon syrup:

  • Bring 8 oz. pineapple juice with 1 cinnamon stick to a simmer.
  • Add 4.8 oz. sugar and dissolve.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool. It’ll keep in the fridge for up to a week.

2. Dry shake all ingredients (except the Perrier, with no ice) vigorously for a good 30 seconds or more until frothy.
3. Add ice and shake again.
4. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled wine glass and top with 3 oz. Perrier L’Orange.
5. Garnish with another dash of Angostura Bitters and a skewered orange slice.

BONUS: Enjoy the leftover pineapple cinnamon syrup to prepare an easy sparkling pineapple lemonade — mix fresh-squeezed lemon and pineapple syrup, and then top with Perrier L’Orange.
