Fairy tales do come true. Just ask Danielle Caesar. For five years, the now-22-year-old would hop on Twitter and send messages to her most favourite hunky famous dude, Jake T. Austin. (Grown-ups, you might recognize him as the kid who almost lost Abigail Breslin in New Year’s Eve. For the grown-ups who have kids, or just really, really, really like kids’ TV shows, you might know him from Wizards of Waverly Place.) And it seems persistence pays off because after years of tweeting, Jake and Danielle are sitting in a tree.

Austin posted a photo of himself on Instagram, but he wasn’t alone. A girl’s lips were attached to his lips and his caption, “I’m crazy for her,” with a blue heart emoji sent his fans in a tizzy. Because before all this, she was one of them.

I’m crazy for her. 💙

The Daily Mail reports that Caesar, who was tagged in the photo, has been a JTA fangirl for a long time, regularly sending him tweets like, “your smile is so cute,” “yourq [sic] amazing,” and — in a very ambitious one from 2010 — “me & @jaketaustin are qettinq married. Shhh =x he just doesn’t know it yet 😉 yes I know I’m a freak :D.”

Well, it seems Jake likes ’em freaky because Danielle’s crazy strategy totally worked. We kid! It’s adorable, not crazy. The two are as in love as any young twenty-something can be and what’s better is that fangirls and fanboys everywhere now know that if they tweet at their hotties consistently, they, too, might find love. So to everyone out there, if you wish it and dream it and tweet at it religiously, it can happen to you.
