Rihanna appears on the latest cover of Vogue Hong Kong and the popstar-turned-beauty-mogul is delivering some of her fiercest looks ever. And this is Rihanna, so that’s saying a lot. Rihanna teased the regal cover and photoshoot on her Instagram page, sharing three snaps of the upcoming September issue, which is one of the first times we’ve seen Rihanna all year. Where ya been, Riri?

Rihanna wears Louis Vuitton on the cover, with the new issue featuring the singer in designs by Dries Van Noten and Alexander McQueen, curated by Vogue HK fashion director Anya Ziourova.

But it’s not like RiRi has been relaxing during her time out of the spotlight. She has several various creative endeavors on the go, including her Fenty beauty and lingerie collection, her new collaboration with fashion brand LVMH, as well as recording her ninth studio album. That’s in addition to Rihanna’s film role in Guava Island, in which she starred starring opposite Donald Glover in her first major role.

Most recently, Rihanna has been putting the finishing touches on her Savage X Fenty FW/19 fashion line, with the upcoming lingerie show coming streaming September 20. The singer has also been recording her highly anticipated follow-up to the Grammy-winning Anti. Released back in 2016 (!) fans have anxiously been awaiting new music, with all signs pointing to Rihanna dropping the new record before the end of the year.

With her busy schedule, the celeb hasn’t had much time for red carpets, even skipping this year’s MET Gala. Still, RiRi has managed to make a few public appearances in 2019 including honouring Mary J. Blige at the BET Awards in June with a lifetime achievement award. She was spotted at the World Cup of Cricket in July and attended her Fenty fashion show in June in New York. Rihanna also surprised fans by making an appearance at the Fenty pop-up shop in Paris this past May. The superstar is also working on her upcoming annual charity event Diamond Ball, with this year’s September event drawing in big-name performers Pharrell and DJ Khaled.

The multi-talented performer has also been quietly dating Hassan Jameel since 2017, with Rihanna opening up about the pair’s relationship in Interview Magazine earlier this year, revealing that after 15 years in the entertainment business, she’s finally achieved the elusive work-life balance schedule. We guess that’s worth a few missed red carpets.
