Harry Potter once said, “I solemnly swear I am up to no good”. Well, we can now solemnly swear that Rupert Grint, the actor who famously played Ron Weasley in the historic franchise has finally (emphasis on finally) joined Instagram.

Clearly, Ron spent the last 10 years perfecting spells rather than struggling to hack the ever-changing Instagram algorithm (or, you know, selling diet tea) but, alas, his day has finally come. The actor chose an especially cute moment to commemorate his Instagram debut, sharing a photo of his baby daughter, Wednesday, dressed in a cozy pink sweater. Grint and his girlfriend, Georgia Groome, welcomed their baby girl this past May.In the caption, he acknowledged that he was rather ‘late to the party’— but hey, better late than never. "Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am,” he wrote. ‘Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert."

His profile picture offers a nod to his younger self, with a photo of Maggie Smith (who played Professor McGonagall) planting a kiss on his cheek. How cheeky.

His Instagram account has also already been verified, just in case you were getting it mixed up with “@rupertgrinthot” which, if you’re a die-hard HP fan, might also be a worthy follow.

Despite their on-screen rivalry, Tom Felton (the actor who played Draco Malfoy) was thrilled to welcome his co-star to the Instagram world. Commenting on the pic, he wrote “Welcome Weasley , it’s about time. Love to Wednesday xx”. His comment already has over 120,000 likes from fans who are very much in favor of their potential social media bromance and, perhaps it’s worth noting, Grint already has 1.4 Million followers (and counting).

Clearly, #GrintOnTheGram is a huge success. Next up, an Instagram Live reunion between Grint, Felton, Emma Watson, and Daniel Radcliffe? We can only dream.[video_embed id='2072934']Before you go: This baby's adorable laugh attack will brighten your day[/video_embed]
