You read that right. A British woman who claims that she has slept with ghosts and is now in a committed relationship with one has been making the internet rounds after an interview went viral and viewers have been pointing out that she looks strikingly similar to actress Blake Lively. Lively’s husband — Ryan Reynolds, for those who don’t know — admitted that the similarity is uncanny, so uncanny in fact, that he’s pretty sure that’s actually his wife. He was shocked to learn of her engagement through social media.
That is a pretty cruel way to discover your wife is leaving you.
THIS is how I find out?

Now, that woman is obviously not Blake Lively (we can’t handle that celebrity breakup) and her story is way wilder than that of any character her actress doppelganger has played. So buckle up, folks, time to meet Amethyst .
Amethyst Realm has appeared on ITV in Britain twice in the past year to discuss her sexual experiences with ghosts. In her first appearance in December 2017, she told the hosts on This Morning that she had slept with at least 20 ghosts, including one that ended an engagement she had with a living human man. She said that it all started in 2005 when she moved into a haunted home.
The 30-year-old returned to This Morning in August of this year and shared that she has since settled down with one male Australian ghost whom she met when she was visiting the country nine months ago. The ghost — whose name she didn’t reveal — recently proposed to her (although there was no getting down on one knee because “he doesn’t have them“). Amethyst and her betrothed intend to have a “handfasting ceremony” (a neopagan commitment ceremony) and then at some point, a baby.
Yes, a baby.
“I’ve been looking into phantom pregnancies and I believe that a phantom pregnancy is actually a real pregnancy but you have a phantom inside you rather than a human baby,” she explained.
Realm believes that many people have had “phantom pregnancies” but were unable to carry them to term because they didn’t realize what was happening. She is confident that since she understands the process, she would be able to carry her phantom baby to term. Although, she’s unsure what form it would take once she gives birth.
Amethyst was very open about all aspects of the relationship and even revealed that she and her partner are proud members of the “Mile High Club” — which was probably more information than we needed.
Believe Amethyst’s story or not, the spiritual counselor doesn’t care. She told the hosts as much and said that she also thinks there are people out there who will totally understand her situation.
“In Australia I was meeting a group of people who had similar experiences and since my last ITV experience, there’s been a lot in the news about other people going through the same thing,” she said.
On thing is for sure: Amethyst Realm looks an awful lot like Blake Lively and even Blake’s husband agrees.
