By now you’ve all heard the sad and sorrowful story about ‘Sad Papaw.’ You know the loveable grandpa who cooked 12 burgers for his six grandkids and the only one who showed up took a picture of this sorry affair and posted it on Twitter?

The internet went up in flames as people attempted to find said mean grandkids and put an end to Papaw’s sadness. The kids were soon rounded up (thanks to The Daily Mail) and finally sat down for dinner with their gramps:

All’s well that ends well, right? Well, not yet. Sad Papaw a.k.a. 66-year-old Oklahoma-native Kenny Harmon decided to throw together an extra special gathering for all of his fans (a.k.a. Internet grandkids) on March 26:

Hundreds of his fans (from all over) showed up. They lined up to purchase Papaw burgers, “I had a burger with Papaw” t-shirts and waited in long cues for a chance to take a picture with the famous Internet grandpa.

It looks like Sad Papaw’s going to need a new nickname a.s.a.p. because he’s definitely not sad anymore.
