Cher, who provided the secret musical entertainment at this year’s ball (fitting, considering the theme was "Camp"), gave a characteristically riveting performance, and Sarah couldn’t help but get right into the groove. How could she not when her idol was doing a flawless performance of "Turn Back Time" mere FEET away from her?Sarah's enthusiasm didn’t go unnoticed, and Cher approached her and took her hand for a brief moment. As Sarah explained, "It was bananas… she sees me, walks right to me, and grabs my hand… I mean like, it was personal… because we’re friends, you guys."
And if that sounds like an exaggeration, Winnie Harlow Insta-storied the whole exchange for posterity.
