Whether you’re stuck in traffic, hungry with no food, or just got out of a bad argument, we all know what a bad day feels like.
They suck. And we can’t wait until they’re over. The only real solution for a bad day, at least sometimes, is to see someone having one that is even worse than yours. We call that little thing perspective.
Animals are the perfect candidates for providing such insight. Their dumb, lovable charm gets them into all sorts of awkward situations. That’s why we’ve rounded some of them up, because no matter how bad your day might be going, these guys are having it worse.
We’ve all dropped our freshly-cooked dinner on the floor at some point. It’s terrible. But at least you never got your head stuck in a food-filled pot, leaving you to run around frantically in a blind state. Couldn’t happen, you say? Well it did to this lion:
Back in your childhood years, you might have wiped out on the playground swing one or two times. But that’s probably as bad as it ever got. This moose? He didn’t even make it onto the seat before his head got all tangled up:
Have you ever met a close talker? Or someone who gets up in your space and won’t leave? It’s the worst. And that’s exactly what happened to this (extremely patient) rhino:
Then comes those times when you’re so mad, you’re ready to explode. But you don’t, because you’re a mature human living in civilized society. But kangaroos? Not so much. Black eyes are no problem. Ding ding!
We’ve all played a sport that just didn’t work for us. Maybe you tried soccer and couldn’t kick. Or football and couldn’t throw. It’s frustrating, but you can find some relief watching this dog, who couldn’t catch a treat if its life depended on it:
Have you ever sat in the economy section of a plane? Pretty cramped, right? Well just imagine how this fully-grown horse feels being packed into the backseat of a car! Is that even legal?!
“So close, and yet, so far.” Does that sound familiar? This lion certainly understands. It wanted to hunt this baby so bad but a few inches of glass stopped her in her tracks. We’re happy that glass was in the way, of course, but how frustrating would this be?
