Like snowflakes, no two models are created alike. Some execute the most perfect Blue Steels and some are meant for a life of catalogue work. Some trip up the catwalk while others are just trying to come back from a life of crime.

Like poor Jeremy Meeks, a.k.a. the “Hot Felon,” a.k.a. “The Blue-Eyed Bandit,” a.k.a. “Jail Bae.” It seems no matter how hard the 33-year-old tries to embrace his newfound life of glam photo shoots and fancy sports cars, he just can’t escape his criminal past.

The American model was all set to pose for photos and attend the U.K.’s Man About Town launch when Heathrow airport officials denied his entry yesterday and sent him packing. Meeks and his agent later claimed the man had all of his paperwork and a letter from his probational officer in order, so the whole ordeal should have never happened.

And to think, his deportation came less than eight hours after he landed, meaning the guy was probably worried about breaking a contract AND dealing with all that jet lag.

Anyhow, Meeks was escorted back onto the plane where he did what any reasonable ex-con model would do, and he snap chatted the whole thing to his followers. We’ll bet it was a stark contrast to this sultry selfie he shared six weeks ago.

CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP

In case you haven’t heard, Meeks is the guy who was arrested a couple of years back for possession of a firearm and resisting arrest. His mugshot went viral because people thought he was hot, and as these things tend to unfold he landed an agent  (supposedly the same one who represents the Octomom). Now he’s lighting up photo shoots and catwalks with his blue-eyed, tattooed look and lives in a mansion.

Good to be home

Not too bad for a father-of-three who once spent nine years behind bars for gang-related crimes, huh?

Anyhow, we’re sure this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing from Meeks or his camp. After all, you can’t keep a former felon model down.
