It’s now a “waiting game” for Shannen

Shannen Doherty has been in the fight of her life and now she waits to see if everything she’s gone through was enough to conquer cancer. The actress posted a pic of herself on Friday, captioning it with the reveal that it was her last day of chemo. Now all she can do is wait.

News of Doherty’s breast cancer diagnosis came out in 2015 in a lawsuit she filed against her former business managers. It was then revealed that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes but she’s been vocal about her battle. Doherty’s done everything she could do. Praying for her.

Trump is skipping the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, eyeroll

Donald Trump took to Twitter, obviously, to announce that he would not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 29.

Trump didn’t elaborate, but as his administration continues to battle it out with the media the news shouldn’t come as a surprise. The annual dinner, a tradition since it began in 1920, is organized by the journalists who cover the White House and the president; considering he’s banned many of them from press conferences, chances are they don’t really want to dine with him anyway.

Us Weekly reports that many outlets had already bowed out of the event, though perhaps they might rethink their decision now. Because despite the absence of President Trump, the dinner will go on.

Hey, if Trump’s not going, perhaps they can just invite Alec Baldwin to take his place.

Demi Lovato tweeted that she’s 1% African and the Internet was not happy

Demi did a DNA test and was so astounded by what came up so she posted the results on Twitter.

Turns out, not everyone loved the singer pointing out her African ancestry. One took to a classic line from Mean Girls.

Some didn’t care (but, you know, cared enough to comment)

While others were simply embarrassed for her.

Lovato picked up on the slams, tweeting, “Just thought it was cool and totally random. Some of y’all are mean af. Twitter sucks,” and added to one commenter that she didn’t mean to offend anyone. Demi’s a tough cookie. Hopefully she won’t quit Twitter. Again.

Sorry, Josh, Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus are totally together

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson broke up last year but many were still holding out hope that the two would find their way back to each other. Yeah, that’s not going to happen. Because it turns out that she’s most likely dating Norman Reedus now. Which wouldn’t be such a big deal had it not been for their scandalous past.

If the reports and sightings from December 2015 were true, then Diane was seen making out with Norman in NYC — while she and Josh were still together. It was denied, but then six months later, Diane and Josh broke up. Then six months after that, Diane and Norman were together in Paris. And now this.

According to TMZ, Kruger and Reedus have “taken the next step” in their relationship, though Norman’s rep denied it, saying they’re “just friends” and did not “take a trip together.” Uh-huh. Josh, where you at? We’ll comfort you.

RIP, Bill Paxton

Ending this one on a sad note, though many of you already heard the shocking news. Bill Paxton died at the age of 61 and it has devastated many.

“It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” a family representative said in a statement. “A loving husband and father, Bill began his career in Hollywood working on films in the art department and went on to have an illustrious career spanning four decades as a beloved and prolific actor and filmmaker. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their adored husband and father.”

Paxton held the esteemed honour of being killed by a terminator, a predator and an alien. He could play smarmy (the gross car salesman in True Lies), heroic (racing against tornadoes in Twister) and passionate (Titanic, Apollo 13) on the big screen, he also boasted an illustrious TV career, from Big Love to Hatfields and McCoys to Training Day, which premiered earlier this month. He will be sorely missed.
