It doesn’t take a genius to know that drinking beer in the shower isn’t the brightest idea. But maybe that’s because we just haven’t found the right beer to drink there… until now.

PangPang, a Swedish brewery, and Snask, a marketing company, paired up to bring you Shower Beer: the perfect brew to drink in the shower.

Each bottle has a paperless label, and holds around 6 ounces (or about 3/4 of a cup) of beer with 10 per cent alcohol by volume, perfect to be “[gulped] in three sips while standing in the shower getting ready for the night,” said PangPang’s founder, Fredrik Tunedal. In other words, your mini beer will have about as much alcohol as a regular beer.

The beer’s described to have a citrussy, soapy flavour with some herbal notes, which is meant to perfectly match your showering experience. But that’s not the best part. Believe it or not, Shower Beer also doubles as a hair conditioner.

“I made Shower Beer small enough to keep its temperature during the shower, and strong enough to mentally wash your workday off and get ready for a fresh night out,” stated Tunedal.

If you love the idea of downing a bottle of booze in the shower, you’re going to have to wait to actually get a hold of one. The beer sold out within a minute of being released to the public in Sweden… so it’ll take some time before they restock and make it available to the rest of the world.

“We have received incredible amounts of interest from all over the world, so we are currently looking for distributors outside Scandinavia in order to be able to shower this whole planet with this brew,” explained Fredrik Öst, who works at Snask.

If you do happen to get a bottle anytime soon, be cautious of the obvious risks. After all, drinking in the shower with a bottle made of glass sounds like a disaster just waiting to happen.
