If you ever wondered what Darth Vader’s legions of plastic-clad robot men do to wind-down after a hard day of fighting the forces of good, you got your answer on Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent. Apparently off-duty activities include choreographing and practicing viral dance numbers. Good to know they have WiFi on the Death Star.

To the world’s delight, Boogie Storm made the trek from a galaxy far far away to bless Earth with their killer dance moves and accomplish what few on this planet have managed to do: impress Simon Cowell. These Storm Troopers Gangnam Styled and Single Ladied straight into that void in Simon’s chest. And boy, are we glad they did!

For those unfamiliar, pounding the golden buzzer on BGT sends the act straight to the semi-final round of the show. Judges only get one golden buzz per season, so you need to reserve it for that one super-crazy-fab-awesome act. And this was it. It looks like all the judges were eyeing that shiny buzzer, but Simon got to it first, as proud as we’ve ever seen him.

Simon seemed virtually over the moon with his snag and even tried to convince us that he had been dreaming of finding dancing storm troopers (okay, Simon, sure, you’re on the cutting edge of everything). We guess that seems like the next logical step for him now that One Direction is ‘on a break.’

Obviously, we love 1D, but Boogie Storm Imperial Marched straight into our hearts. Don’t let us down, Britain, send those troopers all the way! Then again, when you get the golden buzz from the dark lord himself, you’ve pretty much got it made.
