If you're looking for a show about a perfect mother whose home looks like a Pinterest board come to life, SMILF isn't for you. Instead, the half hour comedy from writer and star Bridgette Bird is a semi-autobiographical look at the life of a working class single mother living in South Boston. Expect thick accents, hilarious and heartfelt moments, and appearances from Rosie O'Donnell and Connie Britton. You're gonna want to pahk yah butt on the sofah for this. CraveTV

In May 2016, Canadians and music fans around the world were stunned to learn that The Tragically Hip's lead singer Gord Downie had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. Almost as shocking was the band's plan to tour their beloved country one last time.
