Most of Canada so far has been enjoying a relatively mild fall.

Major cities like Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Ottawa and Halifax are all experiencing above-zero temperatures. If you live in Toronto, you’re actually about to welcome an afternoon high of 19 degrees–practically patio weather. But as you work your way towards the west coast, there’s a noticeable drop in the forecast. In fact, large swaths of B.C. are currently being pelted with snow. That’s right, snow. The dreaded post-summer “S” word. Thanks to a weekend snowstorm, mountain resorts like Whistler Blackcomb are reporting on Facebook that 35 cm of white powder has fallen since Halloween. Check it out:
