Plastic makes perfect.

At least, that seems to be Kylie Jenner’s new motto. The youngest Kardashian is following in her sisters’ footsteps (Kim’s Paper cover “broke the internet” last year, and the most recent issue of Vogue is dedicated solely to Kendall), landing the April cover of indie fashion magazine, Paper. “This month we’re highlighting the art, music, fashion and entertainment leaders of today,” the magazine wrote on their website.

Naturally, they thought of the 18-year-old Kardashian, who like her sisters, already has some pretty exaggerated features. (Kylie has openly discussed her use of lip fillers, remember?) Kylie shared the cover—not breaking, but fracturing the Internet slightly this morning—on her Instagram feed, pointing out that, yes, her lips and eyes have been blown out of proportion in post editing.

But there’s something a teensy bit unnerving about this cover. As Mashable points out, Jenner has been made to look unearthly, Photoshopped to the extreme, and while it may have been intended as satire, there are millions of young women online who probably won’t get the joke…and just as many others who will make their own jokes.

From a fashion standpoint, yes, perfect flawless skin and big Kardashian lips and eyes are still in vogue in 2016, but if things get any ‘better’, we may soon reach a bursting point. Literally.
