When it comes to fighting cancer, Canada (and the world) still have a long way to go.
The statistics are sobering. Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, making cancer one of the leading causes of death in Canada and worldwide. But thanks to establishments like Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, there’s hope.
Princess Margaret’s “Colour to Conquer” Campaign is an ambitious fundraising campaign to help conquer cancer in our lifetime. “Colour to Conquer” invites Canadians to colour their hair a bold colour during the month of May to raise money and awareness for cutting edge cancer research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – one of the top five cancer research centres in the world.
