Have you ever tailored your Instagram feed to catch the eye of someone specific? Thanks to millennials, there’s a name for that.

Instagrandstanding is the act of catching someone’s attention by tailoring your social media feed to their likes and interests. For instance, if your person of interest is into basketball and chocolate, perhaps you’d post updates of you at an NBA game or picking up your favourite candy bar at the grocery store.

Sounds a little insane, right?

Sure, but in the modern dating world, Instagrandstanding is the norm.

In a recent survey by Plenty of Fish, more than 69 per cent of millennials admit to having done it, and more than half of single people surveyed are Instagrandstanding as we speak.

In fact, you’re probably guilty of it too, you just don’t realize it.

Have you ever done this? Does it work? We’re dying to know.
