In today’s pointless and unnecessary online criticism news, Stefano Gabbana of Dolce and Gabbana decided that the world should know what he really thinks about Selena Gomez. In a photo of the star, posted by popular Instagram account The Catwalk Italia (1.4 million followers and counting) Gabbana commented “è proprio brutta, ” which roughly translates to “she’s so ugly.” This is the photo in question:
The pic, which features five beautiful Seleners in five lovely red dresses asks its followers to pick a fave: 1,2,3,4, or 5. Obviously, we are perplexed. “È proprio brutta, ” isn’t a number, Stefano. Is Gabbana legally blind? Is he overdue for cataract surgery? Is it opposite day? To add insult to injury, when one commenter mentioned that Gomez “looks like a Pomeranian dog,” Gabbana replied with “hahahahahaha is true hahahaha.” Is not true, though, Stefano. Plus, reducing a woman to her looks and then bullying her publicly about it is just kinda gross.
Thankfully, the internet loves Selena Gomez and her fans are are ready to fight for their Wizards of Waverly Place queen.
Imagine calling this woman ugly 😂😂 Someone get Stefano Gabbana off social media. pic.twitter.com/F9UMlvwRGu

Stefano Gabbana endorses Trump, mocks black women & tried to capitalize “slavery couture”, called IVF children “synthetic”, uses fur, tests on animals, & dismissed the MeToo movement
But people are laughing and justifying these comments because it’s about Selena Gomez. Gross https://t.co/tm2FXDWWmv

Gabbana, who is known for dressing Melania Trump and doesn’t mind if you boycott them (in fact, he made a $245 shirt to troll his haters), has also criticized fashion favourite Kate Moss. And since this Instagram post — where he circled a rather harsh criticism, and captioned with “hey haters!!! Compliment to you and many other!!! ❤ you” — was his reaction to the backlash, we’re guessing Gabbana doesn’t really care.
