The northern lights graced Canadian skies last night. Sadly, cloud cover prevented the majority of us from seeing anything, but a few people still managed to snap some pretty incredible images of the phenomenon.

Southern Ontario was the best location to be in all of Canada if you wanted to see the aurora borealis last night. You can credit the nocturnal show to a 3-level geomagnetic storm, which, while weaker than expected, was still enough to illuminate the night. Here are some of the best shots we found:
