If you love burritos, tacos, free things and staycations, you’re about to get very excited.
Taco Bell just launched a contest on Airbnb where one lucky Canadian and three friends will get a free ‘steakcation’ (get it?) in Chatham, Ontario. But the winner will get more than a stylish Airbnb apartment to spend a night in, they’ll literally get to stay overnight inside a Taco Bell restaurant. That means if you get hungry at night, you’ll have great food right in front of you. Looks like dreams really do come true.
The restaurant will also be transformed into a cozy heaven, complete with bunk beds, a TV, video games, movies and a Taco Bell Butler to get you whatever the heck you want to eat.
The contest was created in honour of Taco Bell’s newest menu item: the Steak Doubledilla–tons of steak, jalapeño sauce and cheese grilled in a tortilla. And yes, you can eat as many of them as you can fit into your stomach if you happen to win.
But as with any contest, there are a few rules. The Airbnb contest listing states the following:
- “If sharing salsa, no double dipping your chips.”
- “Eating Steak Doubledillas in bed is not only allowed, but encouraged.”
- “Making that squeaking sound with your straw and cup lid is annoying. Quit it.”
- “Don’t feed the Taco Bell Butler. Wait, that’s not very nice. We’ll leave that up to you.”
- “Live Más”
And all you have to do is sign into Airbnb and enter here, where you’ll be prompted to answer the following: “Why do you want to take a SteakCation? Tell us why you think it would be awesome to spend the night at a Taco Bell.”
The prize also includes dinner and snacks from–you guessed it–Taco Bell as well as free breakfast the following day. And if you live a little far from Chatham, don’t worry, they’ll pay for your roundtrip tickets to Chatham, Ontario, too.
The contest is open from now until October 11, and the winner will be announced on October 13, so you have a bit of time left to dream about all the food you could be eating if you win.
And even if you’re not a big fan of Taco Bell, it’s hard to resist the opportunity for free food and a free place to stay, even if only for a night. Thank you, Taco Bell for giving us fast food and the opportunity to have an adventure.
