With less than a week to go for the release of Taylor Swift’s new album, Lover, she gifted her fans with yet another song. And not just any single—the title track. The lyrics video dropped late Thursday and it’s as dreamy and sweet as you would expect from a song called “Lover.”

“Lover” marks the fourth single from the album, due out on August 23, and follows the previous releases of “ME!,” “You Need to Calm Down” and “The Archer.” Taylor is set to perform at Central Park next Thursday, as part of Good Morning America‘s summer concert series and later that day, in a promotional tour bonanza, Swift will livestream her debut performance of a track from Lover on YouTube. But that’s not all—she will also take part in a fan Q&A and, because she’s not busy enough, reveal details from her upcoming Lover-inspired fashion collab with Stella McCartney.

And then, to top it all off, the music video for “Lover” will premiere.

Swift told Vogue in its September issue that the song, which is co-produced by Jack Antonoff, features one of her favourite bridges, explaining, “I love a bridge, and I was really able to go to Bridge City.” And while the lyric, “My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue, all’s well that ends well to end up with you,” is classic Swifty, the bridge is more telling of what Tay is really like: “And you’ll say all your dirtiest jokes for me, and at every table, I’ll save you a seat, lover.”

Like with many of Swift’s songs, this latest single is clearly personal and because no one knows much about the singer’s relationship with British boyfriend Joe Alwyn, fans are convinced this one’s all about him.

Lover will be Taylor’s seventh studio album but her first with Republic Records and Universal Music Group since parting ways with now-Scooter-Braun-owned Big Machine. And while her GMA performance is highly anticipated, it’s her appearance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on August 26 that everyone is waiting for. It will mark Taylor’s first televised performance following the release of the new album—plus she could walk away with a handful of trophies since she’s up for 10 awards, including Best Video and Best Song.

Swift wasn’t done with the surprises and shared the official track listing Friday afternoon, which included 12 songs, the last of which features none other than Dixie Chicks. You might recall that in late June, we reported there was going to be new Dixie Chicks music after a 13-year hiatus and considering both Swift and the Chicks share a producer in Jack Antonoff and Taylor is a long-time and vocal fan, the collab, “Soon You’ll Get Better” is a no-brainer. We still expect a full album from the country trio but news of them making a cameo on Lover is all kinds of exciting.
