First Taylor conquered America, but now, she’s looking to do the same in China. In a move that Donald Trump would not approve, Taylor Swift has teamed with Heritage 66 Company to produce a line of clothes to be exclusively sold to the Chinese market. The launch will coincide with her 1989 tour hitting the country in November, and will be sold on JD.com, one of the largest e-commerce sites in the east.
Not only did JD.com make the announcement that Taylor was going to be a designer on its site, but it turns out the brand also revealed that it had launched its “U.S. Mall,” which sells non-counterfeit American brands. So, basically, the indication is there’s an appetite for American trends. And the biggest American trend of them all? Taylor. It’s a perfect fit.
