Two of Taylor Swift’s fans got engaged in front of her, and her reaction is classic Swifty
Taylor Swift‘s signature move may be writing about her exes, but her other early-career trademark was that face. You know the one, that shocked “OMG” look she used for just about anything and everything in the beginning days of her fame. It didn’t always fit the situation, but this time it couldn’t be more apt.
During a backstage meet-and-greet at one of her concerts last week, Tay had front row seats to witness a fan getting down on one knee and proposing to his girlfriend who he met five years ago at a show on Swift’s Red Tour.
Man, do we miss that face. Congrats to the happy couple.
The Cambridges’ royal date is aces
Speaking of true love, we got to witness some pretty adorable royal affection this weekend too. Duchesses Kate and Meghan enjoyed a girls’ day out on Saturday and then Kate stepped out again the next day with hubby Prince William for what looks like a lighthearted and playful day-date. The couple left their three kids, George, Charlotte and the newly christened Louis, at home to take in more tennis at Wimbledon and stun the crowd with their delightful presences.

You really couldn’t miss Kate, who stunned in a bright yellow Dolce & Gabbana dress, while Will looked dapper in a grey houndstooth jacket and navy pants.
They sat in the royal box at the All England Lawn Tennis & Crochet Club, of course, as Kate is its patron. It looks like the couple had a grand ol’ time, laughing and smiling as Novak Djovovic won his fourth title, beating Kevin Anderson in straight sets. The match may have been over quick but we’re sure Kate and Wills were more than happy for the grown-ups-only date.
Selena’s hacker charged, oh, well
The woman who hacked into Selena Gomez‘s email account is paying the price. According to Page Six, Susan Atrach was charged with five felony counts of identity theft, five felony counts of accessing and using computer data to commit fraud and one felony count of accessing computer data without permission.
The hacks happened between June 2015 and February 2016, and the accused allegedly “obtained stored media,” then posted it online. The “obtained stored media” is most likely nude photos of Selena’s ex-boyfriend/Hailey Baldwin‘s now-fiancée, Justin Bieber, which were taken while the then-couple were on vacation in Bora Bora.
Atrach could serve nine years and eight months in a California prison, if given the max sentence.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck kinda-sorta went on a date
Jennifer Garner told CBS Sunday Morning that she “could cry” talking about the public scrutiny she faced after her split from Ben Affleck but now that they’re officially divorced, the exes have managed to figure out how to put their kids first in a way that works for them. And what works is travelling to New York City as a family and watching a Broadway show.
The family of five caught a performance of Hello, Dolly!, starring Garner’s former Alias co-star, Victor Garber (who also happens to be the guy who officiated Ben and Jen’s wedding).
“Jen and Ben both appeared to be really happy,” an eyewitness told People. “They were laughing and smiling throughout the show and at intermission, and engaging with the kids. Some fans said hello and they were both really kind.”
The onlooker added, “Jen and the kids were cheering extra hard for Victor all night long. They gave him a huge round of applause when he first appeared on the stage, and a standing ovation during the curtain call. It was nice to see them all so enthusiastic. There was definitely an extra energy in the room because they were there.”
For gossip’s sake, Bennifer 3.0 would be kind of great. For women’s sake, however, Jen can do better. Not that this is anything more than a couple friendly exes taking a mini-vacation together because as far as we know, Ben and Lindsay Shookus are still going strong. Right?
Pete Davidson’s gift to Ariana Grande might be the sweetest thing ever
The swift engagement of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have divided the masses, with some people thinking they’re moving way too quickly and others throwing support the couple’s way. So naturally, the sight of Ari wearing a FDNY chain that once belonged to Pete’s late father, Steve Davidson, has caused a bit of an outrage for some.
If you recall, Grande recently got a tattoo of the badge number of Davidson’s dad, who died during the terror attacks of 9/11. When one commenter called the gesture “disrespectful,” Pete was not happy.
The perfect response.
