In 2001, a style renaissance took place. It was called the personalized velour tracksuit, and it was gifted to Madonna by Juicy Couture. Then, like wildfire, the trend migrated and shifted. It was no longer an embroidered “Madge” in any ol’ place. Messages were sent via the butt, and it was a trend that wouldn’t quit. But it wasn’t just track suits, it was sweatpants and underwear, too.
