If you had any doubt about how remarkable and badass women truly are, then you need to read this.

Everyone knows how much work it can be to travel with small children. Whether it’s a road trip, a train ride, a long flight, or heck, even a trip to the grocery store, the struggle is real. Very, very, very real. So much so, that there are times that you just want to pack it in, curl up in a ball, close your eyes and wish yourself anywhere but there, because anything must be better.

That’s what happened to a young mom at LAX. She was pregnant, travelling alone, and having a hell of a time with her young son who was uncooperative, throwing tantrums and generally being a handful — ok, a few handfuls. Tired, frustrated and overwhelmed, she had a meltdown of her own — quieter than her son’s but just as heartbreaking, maybe even more so. She sat on the floor, put her head in her hands and started crying. And that’s when a group of angels came to her rescue.

Helplessness is an awful feeling, and all of those women knew it. They recognized what this young mom was going through and knew they could either watch it unfold before them, or do something about it. Some women might have a tendency to judge others and bring them down; then there are those who know when to show just how powerful they can be. They notice when one of their own needs help, and are willing to step in when the going gets tough. And it got tough for this woman.

Lucky for one tired mama, these lovely ladies were there, proving that one woman can be strong, but a group of them, united for one cause, can be an amazing thing.
