Rupert Grint proved Weasley really is our king when he apparated to London’s West End to check out the production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It’s been five years since we last saw Grint playing Harry Potter favourite Ron Weasley, but like several of his movie cohorts before him, he decided to meet the grown-up version of his beloved character in the flesh. And Paul Thornley was ever the gracious host.
Great casting, right? Despite Grint’s shirt, he was anything but, posing for pics with Thornley and the rest of the Cursed Child cast.
Rupert looked like he had a blast.
Grint wasn’t the only HP alum to check out the production. Just two days earlier, Jim Broadbent (a.k.a. Professor Slughorn) dropped in for a visit.

And just last week, Grint’s on-screen sister, Bonnie Wright, met up with the grown-up Ginny, Poppy Miller.
Helena Bonham Carter, Bellatrix LeStrange herself, also happened to be at the same show as Wright and popped in to say hello to the cast.
But who could forget when Emma Watson dropped in to meet the older Hermione, Noma Dumezweni?
Daniel Radcliffe, now it’s your turn. We get that you don’t have an invisibility cloak IRL (we think) and don’t want to get mobbed or steal any thunder from the Cursed Child players but if Rupert, Emma, Helena, Bonnie and Jim can return to the wizarding world, so can you.
