It feels like just yesterday that Justin Bieber created some viral magic for one of his manager Scooter Braun’s other high profile clients, Carly Rae Jepsen. Remember the video he released of him and his famous friends adorably lip syncing to “Call Me Maybe?” Although it’s hard to believe, it’s been three years since Bieber and his pals helped make that song one of the best selling singles of all time, a copycat video inspiration and an ear worm that we just couldn’t shake. But guess what, the Biebs is at it again.
Not so coincidentally, as Jepsen is gearing up to unveil her new album Emotion this year, Bieber released another lip sync video. This time for the catchy new single, “I Really Like You.” And once again, he didn’t skimp on famous cameos.
Although this video is missing his ex girlfriend Selena Gomez and actress Ashley Tisdale, the Biebs recruited some other recognizable faces like fellow Braun client Ariana Grande, her brother Frankie, Lance Bass, David Foster, Kendall Jenner and young Empire star/rapper Bryshere Y. Gray. Oh, and if you’re wondering who the blonde girl in the sunglasses is, that’s Braun’s newest client, Korean rapper CL. Crafty, huh?
Whether or not you think it’s shameless that the Biebs (under the influence of Scooter) is trying to recreate a lot of viral attention for Jepsen, it’s sure working. In less than 24 hours, the video already has well over 1.3 million views on YouTube alone. You’re a genius Mr. Braun!
