We’ve known for months that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were going on a six-day tour of India and now it’s finally here. They arrived on Sunday and it’s already a jam-packed trip. On the agenda? Honour those who helped protect hotel guests at the Taj Mahal Palace during the 2008 attacks, visit a public park to watch a cricket match and meet children from slums around the city, visit a local water tank in an affluent area, meet people who live in a slum nearby, and attend a fundraiser with a bunch Bollywood stars. And that was just day one.

The rest of their royal tour includes meeting young entrepreneurs and visiting Gandhi Smriti, where India’s founding father, Mahatma Gandhi, spent the last few years of his life. Will and Kate will attend a birthday celebration for The Queen, watch dance and music performances, visit the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation, check out a couple of monasteries, and cap off their trip with a visit to the Taj Mahal.

Whirlwind and royal, just how we like it.
