Municipal bureaucracy has never been as beloved as it was during the seven-year run of Parks and Recreation. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series’ launch, the cast, including Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Aziz Ansari, Rob Lowe, Retta and Jim O’Heir, reunited last night in Los Angeles at PaleyFest. Joined by the show’s co-creator Mike Schur, the Parks and Rec crew that we know and dearly miss did not disappoint.

Saddle up your miniature horses and dig into the best online reactions.

The fans were here for it (even when they were in their kitchens).

All the feels

A teary Amy Poehler was all of us watching the get together unfold.

Did Retta wear a custom ‘Treat yo’self’ dress? Yes, she certainly did.

Basically, events like this are why Twitter was invented.

The more you know

We learned so much. Like which of Ann’s many nicknames was Rashida Jones’ favourite.

And how, exactly, did the relationship between polar opposites Andy and April work?

Aziz Ansari made the reunion IRL-news-relevant with a reference that was for true Pawneeans.

The night was incredible and Schur even referenced the possibility of a reboot.

“Everyone on this stage — and like 6 other people — would have to feel like there was a story that needed to be told,” Schur told the audience. “I think we’d only do it if we all felt like there was some compelling reason to do it.”

Poehler, however, gave us a reason to hope. “I am so not cool, so from minute one I’ve been like, I’m down. Tell me where to go, I’ll clear my schedule.” Bless you, Amy.
