Game of Thrones has continued to be a show that shocks us with every death, battle, allegiance, betrayal, and birth story, but in seven seasons of shocks and surprises the most surprising thing may have happened today. There’s a trailer for Season 8, and it shows so much.

Okay, maybe that’s not the most surprising thing. But we were surprised!

Sometimes you think you’re just having a regular Tuesday and then BAM! The Night King’s horse takes a step and our minds are blown.

The full trailer for Season 8 (we can’t believe we just typed that) is essentially a 90-second proof of life clip. It appears that everyone is still alive, which of course we know could change within the first five minutes of the season premiere. But for now, hearts are pumping, pulses are beating, and the dragons have made it to Winterfell.

Arya continues to be the world’s cutest assassin, but her sheer amazement over seeing the dragons is a reminder that her character is still just a teenager, something we often forget about her and Sansa.

Cersei has the smug look on her face of someone who is about to ascend to the iron throne only to have it collapse beneath her.

Earning one of the few speaking roles in the trailer, Jaime promises to fight for the living, which seems like it could lead to the final separation of the Lannister siblings, since fighting for the living means that Jaime would have to team up with everyone that Cersei hates, which is everyone. Like, everyone.

Jon and Khaleesi arrive in Winterfell, which we already knew from a teaser clip, but it’s still really cool to see.

Tormund is continuing to make Wildlings look cool and Sam also appears to make it back to Winterfell, with the trailer including a shot of the former Meister-in-training with Bran, who continues on his journey towards becoming–we don’t know what exactly. We are really looking forward to the super fun and not at all awkward conversation that Sam is going to have to have with Jon now that he has confirmed that Jon is a Targaryen and therefore dating his aunt. But really, in the world of Westeros and beyond, is dating a family member really that taboo? We’ll find out!

Jorah Mormont continues to beat the odds of greyscale and Missandei and Grey Worm’s love story continues to beat the odds of castration.

Gendry the blacksmith is more ripped than ever and definitely in shape to take on the throne when he eventually finds out he’s next in line.

Kween with a ‘K’ Brienne of Tarth is ready to kill some White Walkers, standing side by side as always with her trustworthy and well-endowed sidekick Podrick.

And finally, TYRION!

Mood for the rest of 2019.

The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on Sunday, April 14. Catch up on Seasons 1 – 7 on Crave now.
