Part of what makes the Jo Bros so adorable is the fact that they’re more focused on being funny than cool. They literally wrote an ironic song about it (see: “Cool”) and have single-handedly created a new genre of music video where their wives just make fun of them (big props to the J Sisters for being fabulous). In this year 2020, a dedication to putting silly humour ahead of all else at the expense of your “cool” image is what we call “big dad energy,” regardless of one’s lack of actual offspring. And the Jonas Brothers (yes, Joe and Nick included) have that in buckets. Add in Seth Meyers (who has spent the past three years telling his wife’s birth story so is a real dad) his brother Josh Meyers and Jack McBrayer, for some reason, and you’ve got two dad trifectas. Send them out day drinking, and you’ve got a recipe for some wholesome hilarious fun.
For Seth Meyers’ latest installment of his Late Night day drinking segment, he led the Jo Bros, his actual bro and his substitute bro on a misadventure which included drinking beer from baby bottles (which "fully sucks"), writing a pop song in five minutes, playing shuffleboard with their own faces and other miscellaneous boozy shenanigans. Honestly, the whole thing was very on-brand for all parties involved.[video_embed id='1879107']RELATED: A new era of the Jonas Brothers is underway[/video_embed]The group capped off their afternoon with a performance of the songs they spent exactly five minutes working on, which were inspired by random title prompts. The McMeyers brothers (which is what you call yourself when two of your brothers are Meyers and the other is a McBrayer) did a stirring and incredibly authentic rendition of  their new pop hit, "Drunk at Noon." Major points to Josh for holding the guitar almost like he knew how to play it.Of course, the actual Jo Bros (who can play the guitar) did much better with their new single, "In Bed by Nine" which got a little NSFW, TBH. The song included instantly classic lines like "let me lick your toes" and "let me blow your nose." Where can we buy this song, guys? We know we were just blessed with the sweet bop "What a Man Gotta Do," but we can truly never have enough Jonas Brothers.Thankfully, there's no shortage of Jo Bros content out there. Not only did we get the privilege of watching them day drink with McMeyers, they're also blowing our minds on TikTok where that same night, they reprised their Camp Rock roles including the oh-so 2008 hairstyles they were rocking back in the day. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're just going to be re-watching Joe play an angsty Shane Gray on loop for the next six hours.
