Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been making headlines all week as the royal couple tour Australia and manage to out-cute themselves on a daily basis (The Diana tribute! The selfies! The PDA!). In the latest instalment of ‘Harry and Meghan: The World’s Most Likeable Couple,’ new mom-to-be Meghan received a homemade necklace from a young fan and wore the macaroni jewelry with pride. Okay, that’s pretty cute.
While greeting fans in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday, Meghan met 6-year-old Gavin Hazelwood. After saying that he was ‘too sick’ to go to school, Gavin spent the morning crafting a necklace for Meghan, painting macaroni gold and threading the pasta through a long ribbon with some assistance from his mom. Getting the okay from his mom to join the thousands of fans waiting to greet the Duke and Duchess, Gavin stood out in his Qantas pilot uniform while holding up a sign for Meghan, writing “I Made You A Necklace.” Just when we thought this kid couldn’t get any cuter…
Gavin woke up “with a cough” so had to stay home from school today. He whipped together a necklace for Meghan, painted it gold and hopes to give it to her soon. @newscomauHQ pic.twitter.com/Y3y3OZjjRK

The young royal fan and future jewellery designer to the stars presented the Duchess of Sussex with his original design, which Meghan happily accepted. Markle immediately put the necklace on and wore it the remainder of the day as she and Harry continued their royal tour of Melbourne.
Well, it’s official. Meghan is ready to be a mom. Any parent knows that half that battle of being a good mom or dad is incorporating homemade gifts into your outfit, office or home.
As a new member of the Royal Family, Meghan now has access to some of the most expensive and valuable jewelry in the world. But we’re really feeling little Oliver’s necklace with Markle’s Dion Lee dress. Maybe he can craft a matching tiara with some penne and fettuccine.
