Note: This post contains spoilers for 'The Mandalorian' Season 2. You've been warned!

A lot has been happening in The Mandalorian universe, in case you missed it. Season 2 of the fan-beloved Star Wars series is currently streaming on Disney Plus and, in episode 5 (AKA Chapter 13), they reveal Baby Yoda’s real name and a new character. An intergalactic two-for-one special, if you will.

You don’t have to be an expert on all things Star Wars to recognize Baby Yoda — memes featuring the adorable green creature have ruled our Instagram feeds over the past year, and he even has his own Chia Pet. But in the latest episode, fans finally learned The Child's real name (because yes, he does have a name other than Baby Yoda).

As it turns out, the adorable creature goes by Grogu, and formerly lived on Coruscant where he underwent training at the Jedi Temple. When the Empire came to power at the end of The Clone Wars, Grogu was hidden. Naturally, we have questions. Have Baby Yoda and Yoda met? If Baby Yoda was being trained by masters at the Jedi Temple, who hid him?

And lastly, is anyone actually going to call him Grogu? As always, Twitter came through with some hilarious reactions to the reveal.

Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves though, because we also have to address the new character who gifted us with this new information. Former Jedi Ahsoka Tano made her official debut on the series (and first live-action appearance ever), and used her mind-reading abilities to unearth those details about Grogu’s past.

Ahsoka, played by Rosario Dawson, is pivotal to Baby Yoda's story, as the information she gives Mando will help direct him to The Child's home world. Naturally, fans were pretty invested in the character and casting decision. Since the episode aired, Twitter has been buzzing with excited chatter, reactions, and spoilers surrounding Ahsoka’s long-awaited debut.

It sounds like the first live-action appearance from Ahsoka Tano is a welcome addition to The Mandalorian, and we can’t wait to see what's in store for her and Baby Yoda – err, we mean… Grogu.
