It’s almost hard to believe but it’s been one year since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot and became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And while the last 12 months have been nothing short of epic—you know, what with their tour of the South Pacific, all their inspiring visits and, oh, right, the birth of their first child!—and we can’t wait for more from the duo who embody #couplegoals.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t relive their glorious wedding day! Pop a batch of scones in the oven, put on your favourite fascinator and let’s look back at the best moments from May 19, 2018.
The moments we’re *still* thinking about from Harry and Meghan’s wedding
Meghan's entrance into St George's ChapelWe all know she looked stunning in her Givenchy wedding dress but seeing her from the back, flanked by the Mulroney twins, John and Brian, was something special. Knowing what we know now about the veil and the special meaning behind it meant the boys arguably had the most important job of the day—respecting that gorgeous veil—and they crushed it.Jane Barlow - WPA Pool/Getty Images
Meghan and Prince CharlesThe days leading up the big day were not exactly picture perfect, as Meghan's father was unable to attend the royal wedding and walk his daughter down the aisle. But since Meg's a proactive kinda gal, she came up with a new plan: start her bridal procession solo (save for her adorable wedding party, of course) and meet her soon-to-be-father-in-law halfway so he could walk her the rest of the way. Harry's greeting as she arrived by his sideAs Meghan met Harry alongside Prince Charles, the groom took a second to whisper what any bride wants to hear on her wedding day. (No, not "I love you," because that's a given.) Instead, after all the prepping, "You look amazing" can't be beat. And don't even get us started on Harry’s lip bite.DOMINIC LIPINSKI/AFP/Getty Images
Harry and Meghan's cutest exchangeAs soon as Harry lifted Meghan’s veil, the two had the shortest but sweetest exchange as they said, "Hi" to one another. We. Can't. Even.OWEN HUMPHREYS/AFP/Getty Images
The many looks of Chelsy DavyHarry's two notable exes—Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas—both attended the royal wedding but the camera focused on Davy quite a bit, so much so that they got a not-so-flattering shot of the Zimbabwean that made her appear on the sad side. Bishop Michael Curry's speechIn what was one of the most spirited, energetic and lengthiest speeches in royal wedding history (so enthusiastic that it echoed off the chapel walls and startled some of the stuffier guests), The Most Reverend Michael Bruce Curry quoted Martin Luther King Jr. and spoke passionately about the power of love. It was the breath of air we weren’t necessarily expecting and couldn't get enough of.Owen Humphreys - WPA Pool/Getty Images

Charles and Doria, BFFsThe moment Charles took Doria's hand and escorted her to watch their children sign their register had us all swooning at the new in-laws. Proud parents, of course, but man, did we want to know what they said to each other. And then after it was all done, they left the chapel with Charles arm in arm with Doria and Camilla. We continue to be here for their new friendship.BEN STANSALL/AFP/Getty Images
That sneaky second kissYeah, yeah, they kissed in front of the crowd as soon as they were out of the chapel but they snuck in another smooch in the carriage during their post-ceremony procession because these two can't get enough of each other. Aw.YUI MOK/AFP/Getty Images
